Today I made my blog look beautiful and looked for some famous dystopian films. Hayden was looking at pictures of Dystopian and Thriller films just as I was, whilst Will finished the risk assessment. I've started my story board though I'm a terrible artist so I fear that I will have to draw the pictures on again. I've gathered some of the props required for our production e.g. canned food and bread. I'm looking forward to FINNALY get my hands on a camera during our preliminary task which we'll be filming during Monday's lesson.

Today I've completed the brief summary of our production which consisted of the basic aspects of our production: Genre, Character, Plot, Costume, Set, Props, and how our production follows different theories e.g. Todorov's theory. Will completed the summary of what devices and programmes we'll be using to complete our production. We've also completed a shot list for next week.

Focus Group

This took place on the 1st of December. We gathered different opinions on our production and ideas that we could potentially use in our final production. The feedback was useful as we now have an idea of what our target audience would expect from a production such as ours. The focus group was effective, we didn't have a female participant which meant that our group wasn't representative of our whole target audience as we are targeting female audiences too.

Today Will has taken the audio from the pitch home so he can edit it. The recorder picked up sounds from all around the room so we can only vaguely hear what the participants were saying. I continued working on the summary of our production idea. We are all looking forward to getting our hands on the cameras and filming next week.
